Clinical Peels

At SkinMedix we offer several different peel options. Depending upon your skin type and condition, your clinician will choose the best peel to help improve skin tone & texture, soften fine lines, refine pores and improve acne. For best results, we recommend a series of treatments.

BioMedic – MicroPeels – “The Lunch Time Peel”

We offer several different MicroPeels and the extent of the exfoliation depends on the type and concentration of the AHA used. At high concentrations, AHA’s function as peeling agents which act more rapidly and at a deeper level. At lower concentrations, the peel will be superficial and can soften & smooth your skin, brighten your complexion, shrink pores and reduce discoloration, all with little to no social downtime.

Classic MicroPeel Treatment

First, dead skin cells are gently removed through Dermaplaning, which is similar to shaving. Then the peel solution is applied for approximately 10 – 15 minutes. You may experience mild, temporary stinging and itching. Once the peel action has stopped, treatment serums and creams are applied. Immediately following your micro peel, you can return to your usual activities. $150

Cosmelan for Deep Pigment

Cosmelan is a proprietary blend of prescription strength lightening agents combined with some of the best tyrosinase inhibitors on the market. This unique blend works synergistically to block the body’s biological response that causes skin discolorations while the prescription strength agents work to lighten existing discolorations.

Cosmelan consists of two steps

I – Cosmelan 1 Mask is applied and left on the skin for a period of time which is determined by your skin color and type. The Mask/Peel kick-starts the de-pigmenting process.

II – Cosmelan 2 Creme is applied nightly once peeling has resolved. The objective of this highly effective maintenance cream is to ensure the continued depigmentation of skin discolorations while restoring luminosity.

Cosmelan is an eight week program that effectively treats skin discolorations. – $600

ViPeel – Why choose ViPeel over others?
